Refine the Design
My partner and I went through the design process to come up with our final project. We brainstormed many ideas, we built a design brief, decision matrix and a Gantt chart for out project. We tested out a lot of projects and came up with a mixture of rocks, dirt coffee filters and fine sand and it worked fine. Each turbidity of out project kept getting lower and lower when we thought of different materials that would work better.
Research & Generate
some advantages were their was no cost energy Some disadvantages is the time it takes to filter out
securing the water so it wont leak out
building it and trying many observations
it makes the waters more clear
it wasn't heavy at all
it doesn't take up a lot of space area

Final design
This project consisted of trying to construct a filter with a turbidity of 5 NTU. Me and my partner used alot of materials to find the best filteration. So, with that being said, we used fine sand , regular sand , rocks and a coffee filter which gave us a turbidity the lowest was 17.8 NTU. What I learned from this project was that there is many ways to filter water clearly, it doesnt matter how much it weighs the water can be clear. Next time , we should get different materials and try more difficult things to challenge ourselves.
